Standarder

• EN 1149-2:1997

Protective clothing and gloves with the EN 1149-2 rating are tested for their ability to conduct electrical charge through the material. This ensures the product can safely dissipate static electricity, reducing the risk of sparks in hazardous environments or damage to sensitive electronics.

  Testresultat

  • Performance Tested

This garment's material has been tested to safely dissipate electrostatic charge. It helps prevent sparks by allowing electricity to pass through the fabric, reducing the risk of fire or explosion in sensitive work environments.

• EN 388:2016

Gloves and arm protectors with the EN 388 rating are tested for protection against mechanical risks like abrasion, cuts, tears, punctures, and sometimes impact. This helps you choose protective gear with the right level of durability and safety for tasks that involve these hazards.

  Testresultat

  • Abrasion Resistance Level 3

Provides good resistance against scraping, scratching, and rubbing on rough or abrasive surfaces.

  • Cut Resistance, ISO 13997 Level B

Offers low cut protection for general work, such as packaging and light assembly.

  • Puncture Resistance Level 2

Withstands moderate force from sharp objects like heavy-duty splinters or wires.

  • Tear Resistance Level 2

Offers moderate resistance against snagging or catching on rough objects, preventing small rips from growing.

• EN 407:2004

Gloves and other hand protection with the EN 407 rating are tested for protection against heat and/or fire, including flame, contact heat, and molten metal splashes. This helps you choose products that offer a specific level of defense against various thermal hazards, ensuring your hands stay safe.

  Testresultat

  • Burning Behaviour Level 4

Provides the highest level of protection against catching fire when exposed to a naked flame. After the flame is removed, the material will stop burning within 2 seconds and stop glowing within 5 seconds.

  • Heat Contact Level 1

Provides protection when briefly touching hot objects. Certified for contact with surfaces up to 100°C for at least 15 seconds, offering short-term protection against burns from items like hot cookware or machinery parts.

  • Heat Convection Level 2

Provides moderate protection by delaying heat transfer from an open flame. Ideal for tasks where hands are near, but not touching, a flame, giving you more time to move away safely from the heat source.

  • Metal Splash Resistance Level 4

Provides the highest level of protection against large splashes of molten metal, tested to resist amounts greater than 200 grams. This makes it essential for high-risk industrial jobs like foundry work and heavy welding.

  • Molten Metal Resistance Level X

This product has not been tested for resistance against splashes of molten metal. It provides no claimed protection and should not be used for welding, foundry work, or other tasks with molten metal risks.

  • Radiant Heat Level 1

Provides Level 1 protection against radiant heat, delaying the transfer of heat from a nearby source for a short time. Ideal for tasks where hands are exposed to heat from a distance, not for direct contact with hot items.

• EN 420:2003+A1:2009

Gloves and other hand protection with the EN 420 rating are tested for general safety, comfort, and harmlessness of materials. This ensures the product fits well, allows for good hand movement, and won't cause irritation or allergic reactions during use.

Märkningar

• PPE Kategori 2
