PPE Category 2
PPE stands for "personal protective equipment." PPE Category 2 refers to equipment that is more complex, and has a higher level of risk. Examples of PPE Category 2 include safety helmets, ear protection, and fall arrest equipment. In Europe, PPE Category 2 must meet certain safety standards set by the European Union, which means that it must be designed and manufactured to protect the user without causing harm. Companies that make or sell PPE must prove that it meets these standards. They also must have a quality management system in place and have to be audited regularly by a notified body.

As a member of a volunteer coastal rescue team and on-land coordinator, I needed gloves that would allow me to perform my duties without removal during extended call-outs. After a lengthy nighttime incident in strong winds and driving rain, where I was constantly using the radio and my phone, my hands were soaked and freezing. I decided to try the 9128 model. Recently, during another operation, the 9128 gloves performed flawlessly. I was able to operate my phone, the car's touchscreen, and the radio without taking them off. My hands stayed warm, protected from the wind, and completely dry. The high visibility is also a great benefit when directing boats in low light. A great product, thanks!

Fast delivery and great service. Touchscreen works well and they are very waterproof. Ordered my normal size, but they fit snugly. I'd probably choose a size larger next time.
