• EN 13432:2000

  Packaging and bioplastic products with the EN 13432:2000 rating are tested for their ability to biodegrade and disintegrate fully in industrial composting, including checks for heavy metals and their effect on compost quality. This ensures the products will break down without harming the environment, helping you make responsible disposal choices.

  Compostability Passed

  This product is certified to break down in an industrial composting facility. It will disintegrate into small pieces within 12 weeks and biodegrade into natural elements like water and carbon dioxide within six months, without harming the compost.

• Food Safe

  Food safe refers to the safety of food products that are used or consumed by people. In Europe, food safety is regulated by the European Union (EU) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). These organizations set standards and requirements for food products to ensure they are safe to eat. To be considered "food safe" in Europe, a product must meet these standards and be free of harmful substances. This includes being free of harmful bacteria, pesticides, and other contaminants. Food products that do not meet these standards cannot be sold or used in the EU.

• FSC Mix

  FSC Mix is a label that indicates that a product contains a mix of wood from both responsibly managed forests (FSC certified) and other sources. In Europe, to use the FSC Mix label, a company must ensure that the wood used in the product is from legal and responsibly managed sources. Additionally, the company must have a system in place to track the wood used in the product and be able to prove that it comes from a mix of FSC certified and other sources.
