PLUS BASE Cap offers optimum impact protection against knocks and minor lacerations caused by stationary objects. With their inner shell made of hard-wearing ABS plastic, they offer impact protection for industrial use in accordance with EN 812. Protect yourself from light impacts, lacerations and abrasions to the head caused by stationary objects with PLUS bump caps. These bump caps are characterized by a flexible, ergonomic shell made of ABS plastic. The breathable fabric, foam padding and air vents ensure good ventilation. The bump cap can be adjusted to the head size with an elastic strap. Standards and labels
EN 812:2012 is a European standard that sets out the requirements for industrial helmets, also known as bump caps. These are protective head gear worn in low-impact, high-frequency areas to protect the head from minor bumps, scrapes and bruises. The standard covers the performance requirements for safety, impact resistance, penetration resistance and the ergonomic requirements of the helmet. To meet this standard, industrial helmet must be able to protect the head from minor impact and penetration, and fit comfortably on the head. Possible test results include measurements of the helmet's impact resistance, penetration resistance and fit, as well as an evaluation of its ability to resist wear and tear. The standard also includes requirements for the proper use, maintenance, marking and identification of industrial helmets.
