• EN 403:2004

  EN 403:2004 is a European Standard for safety requirements for portable hand-held garden machinery. It sets rules for the design, construction, and testing of equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws to make sure they are safe for the user and others nearby. Testing should include measurements of vibration levels, noise emissions, and electrical safety. The standard also includes requirements for labeling and instructions for use. It is an updated version of EN 403:2003.
