Standards and labels
EN 812:2012 is a European standard that sets out the requirements for industrial helmets, also known as bump caps. These are protective head gear worn in low-impact, high-frequency areas to protect the head from minor bumps, scrapes and bruises. The standard covers the performance requirements for safety, impact resistance, penetration resistance and the ergonomic requirements of the helmet.
