OX-ON Eyewear Speed XTS with mirrored lenses are exclusive and safety-approved glasses for those who need to reduce the amount of light entering the workplace. The mirror lenses are made of extremely impact-resistant polycarbonate. The mirror function reflects a large amount of light, making this model ideal for driving and in bright sunlight where reflections from snow and ice occur. At the same time, the lenses provide 99.9% protection against UV rays.
The effect of the goggles' mirrored lenses is clear and your eyes will feel more relaxed and less strained than if you had tinted lenses without the mirror function.
The flexible temples are non-slip and the nose bridge does not slide down the nose. This makes OX-ON glasses extremely comfortable to wear. The lenses have optical class 1 certification and the glasses can therefore be used permanently.
The goggles meet the stringent ballistic requirements set by the US military. These requirements include the ability of the glasses to withstand a projectile-like object of a certain weight and size, moving at a speed of 640-660 feet per second. This requirement is four times higher than for standard safety glasses in the US.
The goggles are approved in the US according to the ANSI Z87 standard, which is similar to the European standard EN 166.
