• CEN/TS 16415:2013

  CEN/TS 16415:2013 is a technical specification for the performance requirements and test methods for personal protective equipment (PPE) against falls from a height. It covers requirements for strength, durability and functionality of fall protection systems, such as fall arrest devices with integrated energy absorbers. Test results for this standard include measurements of load-bearing capacity, functionality of the equipment during simulated use and also the requirements for information that should be provided by the manufacturer.

• EN 795:2012

  EN 795:2012 is an European standard that sets out the requirements for the design and testing of fall protection equipment and fall protection devices. It covers the performance requirements for safety, reliability and durability of fall protection devices and equipments. To meet this standard, a fall protection device or equipment must be able to stop a person from falling and protect them from injury. Possible test results include measurements of the device's or equipment's strength and stability, as well as an evaluation of its ability to resist wear and tear, environmental factors and its ability to be used in different scenarios. The standard also includes requirements for the proper use, maintenance, marking and identification of fall protection devices and equipments.
