Product description
Full face shield providing comprehensive arc flash protection for Kask hard hats. Attaches directly to the side slots of Kask Zenith X series hard hats using the included tool-free mounting brackets.
Protects eyes and face according to arc flash class 2 from a 7 kA arc flash caused by short circuit, as well as from mechanical hazards and liquid splashes. Optical class 1: Designed for long-term continuous use.
Offers unobstructed and wide field of vision in all directions. Transparent chin guard allows maintained work efficiency and safety even in confined spaces and challenging work positions. Good compatibility with GVS Low Profile series half-mask respirators.
Certification: CE EN 166 class 1 type B 8-2-2 3 standard requirements. EN 170 2C-2. Protects from UV radiation without interfering with color discrimination and providing good warning light visibility, and from medium-energy mechanical hazards (6 mm, 0.86 g metal ball at 120 m/s). GS-ET-29 Class 2. ASTM F2178: ATPV 12.0 cal/cm². NFPA 70E: ARC 2. ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 U2. CSA Z94.3. Visible light transmission NA: 42%. Color rendering index 95%. WLBP according to German BGI/GUV-I 203-077, IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E: 320 kJ.
Hinge rotation sensitivity can be adjusted by tightening or loosening side screws. Total weight 425 g. Material: Polycarbonate. Maximum lifespan 10 years. 3-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects.
Compatible with all Kask Zenith X and previous Zenith X series helmets.
