Product description

Clear full face shield providing arc flash protection for Kask hard hats. Attaches directly to the side slots of Kask Zenith series hard hats using the included tool-free attachments.

Protects eyes and face according to arc flash class 1 from 4 kA arc flash caused by short circuit, as well as from mechanical hazards and liquid splashes.

Provides unobstructed and wide field of vision in all directions. Good compatibility also when used with GVS Low Profile series half mask respirators.

Certification: Meets CE EN 166 class 1 type B 8-1-0 3 standard requirements. EN 170 2C-1.2. Protects from UV radiation without disturbing color discrimination and offering good warning light detection accuracy, and from medium energy mechanical hazards (6 mm, 0.86 g metal ball at 120 m/s). GS-ET-29 Class 1. Optical class 1: Designed for long-term continuous use. Visible light transmission NA: 88%. Color rendering index 95%. WLBP according to German BGI/GUV-I 5188: 168 kJ.

Two positions: raised up on the helmet for transport position and lowered in front of face for working position. Total weight 294 g. Material: Polycarbonate. Maximum lifespan 10 years. 3-year warranty for material and manufacturing defects.

Compatible with all Kask Zenith X and previous Zenith X series helmets.
