• EN 60903:1992

  EN 60903:1992 is a European standard for electrical safety of live working. It sets rules for the design, performance, testing, and labeling of electrical insulation gloves and sleeves worn by electricians while working on live electrical parts.   Insulating Material Class 1

  In standard EN 60903:1992, the classification of insulating material as Class 1 defines the protective features based on their electrical resistance, specifically signifying their suitability for working under specified voltage levels to ensure operator safety. Insulating gloves classified under Class 1 are designed to handle maximum voltages of 7000 volts. They also must have a quality management system in place, have to be audited regularly by a notified body and have to have a technical documentation.
