For your information: The Foam foam frame offers excellent comfort against the skin, as well as an overall better user experience, especially in cold conditions. As a soft material, the tightness is also generally better than a conventional frame material. The foam is, of course, shorter than the plastic frame, which should be taken into account, eg in heavy wear, with a beard, in conditions where there is a lot of abrasive dust / dirt, etc. The properties and service life of the foam and its adhesive and cleaning porous material is naturally more challenging than less porous frame materials. In principle, the replacement interval for models with a foam frame in work use is more frequent than for models without foam, but the most justified choice for each application should be made on a case-by-case basis.
The composition of the lens that determines impact resistance, optical clarity, and protection against specific workplace hazards like debris, chemicals, or radiation.
Indicates the lens material's measured thickness, directly affecting impact resistance, optical clarity, and overall weight for comfortable extended wear.
Measured in grams or kilograms, indicating how heavy the eyewear is when worn. Lighter glasses reduce fatigue during extended use in industrial settings.
Offers a customizable fit for enhanced comfort and stability. Adjustable features ensure a secure and personalized fit for various face shapes.
Air vents in frame increase airflow, reducing moisture and fog. Offers enhanced comfort, especially during long periods of use or in humid conditions.

Service Reliability PassedEN ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS), focusing on numerous aspects of quality management in organizations, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system. The 'Service Reliability' with a 'Passed' designation indicates that an organization has successfully demonstrated its ability to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements while aiming for continual improvement. This assessment involves evaluating various elements of the QMS including service planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure reliability and performance consistency. The practical implications for organizations that pass this aspect of the standard are significant; it establishes them as reliable providers in their industry, enhancing customer trust and satisfaction, and potentially leading to increased business and a competitive advantage.

Frame Marking 4The frame marking '4' in standard EN 166:1995 refers to frames specifically tested for resistance against large dust particles, indicating that eyewear with this marking can prevent large dust particles from reaching the eye, a critical feature in environments with significant airborne debris. The testing methodology involves assessing the capability of the frame to form a protective seal or barrier against the simulated intrusion of large dust particles. Frames marked with '4' have undergone rigorous testing to ensure that when worn properly, they significantly reduce the possibility of dust entering around the lenses and reaching the eyes. This ensures a high safety standard for users working in environments with large particulate matter, providing essential eye protection that adheres to the certified EU standards.
Mechanical Strength FEN 166:1995 is a standard that specifies requirements for personal eye protection in various environments, focusing on the durability and safety of eyewear. The 'Mechanical Strength F' designation indicates that the eyewear has been tested and certified to withstand low-energy impact, specifically able to resist a 6 mm, 0.86 g ball traveling at 45 meters per second. This test involves firing the ball at the protective eyewear to ensure it can protect the wearer's eyes from such impacts without breaking or causing injury. Eyewear meeting the 'F' result is suitable for use in environments where there is a risk of smaller, slower-moving projectiles, such as in woodworking, light manufacturing, and general laboratory work. This level of protection helps prevent eye injuries from low-energy impacts, enhancing safety for individuals in these settings.
Areas of Use 3CE Marking is a label that shows a product meets certain safety and environmental standards set by the European Union. To get the CE Marking, a company must test and certify their product meets these standards. CE Marking is required for many products sold in the EU, including electronics, machinery, toys and medical devices. It helps ensure that products are safe for consumers and the environment, and allows for easy trade within the EU.
DIN Geprüft is a German term that means "Tested to DIN Standards." DIN stands for Deutsches Institut für Normung (German Institute for Standardization). In Europe, DIN Geprüft is a certification that signifies that a product has been tested and meets certain standards for safety, quality and performance set by DIN. The requirements for DIN Geprüft certification will vary depending on the specific product and standard.
