Bolle Safety Swat sunglasses smoke
Product description
Ballistic protection is provided by anti-fog sunglasses with smoke lenses and a matte black frame. Suitable for narrow-bodied wearers, and for wide-bodied wearers, they stay on perfectly even in difficult positions. STANAG 2920 and EN172 certified for comprehensive protection for outdoor use: bright sunshine, snow, desert conditions and water activities. The lenses are PLATINUM anti-fog coated class-N and scratch resistant coated class-K. Smoke lenses provide the most comprehensive level of protection against the sun's harmful rays and effectively eliminate blue light that is harmful to the eyes.
Protect eyes from UV rays, flying objects and mechanical risks, even at extreme operating temperatures. Optical Class 1: Designed for long periods of continuous use. Due to the very strong 5-3 level of darkening, we do not recommend for driving in traffic.
Advantages of PLATINUM coating:
- Excellent protection against fogging, ensuring good vision in varying conditions
- Excellent resistance to mechanical abrasion, preventing scratches (1.4 cd/m2)
- Resistant to cleaning (cleaning with water & soap or Bollé Safety B-Clean products).
- Permanent on both sides of the lenses
- Improves performance, safety, goggle reliability and comfort
- Recommended choice for a wide range of general use and for hot and humid working conditions and sweat-inducing conditions

Information on ballistic protection:
2920 is the NATO-defined ballistic protection test method by which Bolle Tactical eye protection is tested. Each lens is subjected to a steel cylinder impact equivalent to a 0.22 calibre bullet. The test is performed at a speed of up to 275 m/s (990 km/h). The standard is applied in all NATO countries.
Indicates the lens material's measured thickness, directly affecting impact resistance, optical clarity, and overall weight for comfortable extended wear.
The composition of the lens that determines impact resistance, optical clarity, and protection against specific workplace hazards like debris, chemicals, or radiation.
Indicates the tint of protective lenses that filter specific light wavelengths, enhancing visibility and reducing eye strain in various work environments.
Measured in grams or kilograms, indicating how heavy the eyewear is when worn. Lighter glasses reduce fatigue during extended use in industrial settings.

Mechanical Strength FEN 166:1995 is a standard that specifies requirements for personal eye protection in various environments, focusing on the durability and safety of eyewear. The 'Mechanical Strength F' designation indicates that the eyewear has been tested and certified to withstand low-energy impact, specifically able to resist a 6 mm, 0.86 g ball traveling at 45 meters per second. This test involves firing the ball at the protective eyewear to ensure it can protect the wearer's eyes from such impacts without breaking or causing injury. Eyewear meeting the 'F' result is suitable for use in environments where there is a risk of smaller, slower-moving projectiles, such as in woodworking, light manufacturing, and general laboratory work. This level of protection helps prevent eye injuries from low-energy impacts, enhancing safety for individuals in these settings.
CE Marking is a label that shows a product meets certain safety and environmental standards set by the European Union. To get the CE Marking, a company must test and certify their product meets these standards. CE Marking is required for many products sold in the EU, including electronics, machinery, toys and medical devices. It helps ensure that products are safe for consumers and the environment, and allows for easy trade within the EU.
DIN Geprüft is a German term that means "Tested to DIN Standards." DIN stands for Deutsches Institut für Normung (German Institute for Standardization). In Europe, DIN Geprüft is a certification that signifies that a product has been tested and meets certain standards for safety, quality and performance set by DIN. The requirements for DIN Geprüft certification will vary depending on the specific product and standard.
