Bolle Safety Tryon spectacles BSSI Polarized
Product description
Optically high class sunglass safety spectacles with Polarized lenses for tactical use. Excellect combination of style, innovation and comprehensive protection.
FLEX 160° -temple structure: The temples open beyond the normal open position, so they are easy to put on and take off and the glasses fit also for a wide head.
Adjustable and non-slip nose bridge offer perfect fit. Molded PC temples with long TPR pads ensure stability and firm fit also in difficult work positions and active use. Steamlined design offers additional protection from the sides.
Protects eyes from harmful sun rays, UV rays, blue light, and low-allergic mechanical risks (6 mm, 0.86 g metal ball 45 m / s), even at extreme temperatures and from ballistic risks.
Polycarbonate lenses have an anti-scratch coating on the outside and an anti-fog coating on the inside. Optics class 1: Designed for long-term continuous use. Due to 5-3 level of shading we do not recommend this model for driving in traffic (visible light transmission 13 %).
Polarized technology:
- Provides excellent protection against glare and reflections
- Improves color separation and contrast
- Reduces eye strain with long-term use

About the structure of the Bollé Safety POLARIZED lens: Polarization is carried out with a very thin 0.3 mm thick 3-layer film with Polycarbonate + polarizing PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) + Polycarbonate layers. The composite material film is fused to the outer surface of the polycarbonate lens of the protective glass to form a completely polycarbonate POLARIZED lens. The advantages of this unique goggle structure developed by Bollé Safety are a brighter lens, and less eye strain during long-term continuous use.
Defines the frame's structural design that affects coverage, compatibility with other PPE, and fit features like adjustability or over-glasses capability.
Indicates the tint of protective lenses that filter specific light wavelengths, enhancing visibility and reducing eye strain in various work environments.
The composition of the lens that determines impact resistance, optical clarity, and protection against specific workplace hazards like debris, chemicals, or radiation.
Numerical rating indicating lens quality and visual clarity. Higher ratings ensure minimal distortion, reduced eye strain, and optimal visibility for precision tasks.
Indicates the lens material's measured thickness, directly affecting impact resistance, optical clarity, and overall weight for comfortable extended wear.
Measured in grams or kilograms, indicating how heavy the eyewear is when worn. Lighter glasses reduce fatigue during extended use in industrial settings.

Standards and labels
EN ISO 9001:2015 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system (QMS). It is a set of guidelines that organizations can follow to ensure that they meet customer requirements and enhance customer satisfaction. The standard is based on the plan-do-check-act model and focuses on continuous improvement. It covers the design, development, production, installation, and servicing of products. Organizations can get certified to this standard, which means that they have been independently audited and found to meet the requirements of the standard. The certification process includes regular audits to ensure that the organization continues to meet the standard's requirements.

Mechanical Strength FEN 166:1995 is a standard that specifies requirements for personal eye protection in various environments, focusing on the durability and safety of eyewear. The 'Mechanical Strength F' designation indicates that the eyewear has been tested and certified to withstand low-energy impact, specifically able to resist a 6 mm, 0.86 g ball traveling at 45 meters per second. This test involves firing the ball at the protective eyewear to ensure it can protect the wearer's eyes from such impacts without breaking or causing injury. Eyewear meeting the 'F' result is suitable for use in environments where there is a risk of smaller, slower-moving projectiles, such as in woodworking, light manufacturing, and general laboratory work. This level of protection helps prevent eye injuries from low-energy impacts, enhancing safety for individuals in these settings.
CE Marking is a label that shows a product meets certain safety and environmental standards set by the European Union. To get the CE Marking, a company must test and certify their product meets these standards. CE Marking is required for many products sold in the EU, including electronics, machinery, toys and medical devices. It helps ensure that products are safe for consumers and the environment, and allows for easy trade within the EU.
