• PEFC

  PEFC certification stands for Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. It's a certification program that makes sure that forests are managed in a way that is good for the environment, people, and animals. To be PEFC certified, forests must follow strict rules and be checked by independent experts to make sure they meet the standards.

• Food Safe

  Food safe refers to the safety of food products that are used or consumed by people. In Europe, food safety is regulated by the European Union (EU) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). These organizations set standards and requirements for food products to ensure they are safe to eat. To be considered "food safe" in Europe, a product must meet these standards and be free of harmful substances. This includes being free of harmful bacteria, pesticides, and other contaminants. Food products that do not meet these standards cannot be sold or used in the EU.

• OK Compost

  OK Compost is a certification program that verifies the biodegradability and compostability of products in industrial conditions. It is awarded by TUV Austria, an independent testing and certification organization. The program verifies that a product will break down into natural substances and not leave behind harmful residue in industrial composting facilities. Products that meet the requirements and pass the testing can use the OK Compost label on their packaging to show that they are biodegradable and compostable in industrial conditions. To be able to use the OK Compost label, a product must meet certain requirements set by TUV Austria, such as passing specific biodegradability and compostability tests in industrial conditions and not leaving behind harmful residue.
