Product description

Protective goggles for gas welding, cutting and other similar work. EN169 level-5 filtration with a new type of gray lens. Also designed for use with half mask respirators. Also recommended when a job-specific risk assessment indicates the need to wear a hard hat: This is easy to use with the helmet.

Provides exceptionally wide panoramic view. Ventilated frame. Also suitable for use over spectacles, and the frame has slots for the temple arms of your own spectacles, fits up to 12 mm high temples. Can be used as goggles or as a full face mask when equipped with optional Superblast Visor (product ref SUPBLV. not included). Anti-scratch and anti-fog coated lense.

Protects from molten metal splash, hot solids, chemical droplets, gas, fine dust (<5 microns), UV-rays, IR-rays and from mechanical impacts (6 mm, 0.86 g steel ball 120 m/s). Optical class 1: Designed for long lasting continuous work tasks.

Grey lense benefits compared to traditional green welding lens

- Provides 100 % protection from UV and IR-rays

- Reduces glare

- Provides perfect colour rendering in accordance with EN172 test requirements, where as traditional green lenses can alter the colours

- Anti-fog and anti-scratch coating on both sides of lenses (not Bollé Safety PLATINUM), where as on regular green lense it is normally only possible to get anti-scratch on one side

- Improves the mechanical resistance of the lense, where as green tint can potentially reduce mechanical strength
