• EN 14387:2004

  Filters for respiratory protective devices with the EN 14387:2004 rating are tested for their ability to protect against specific hazardous gases, vapors, and/or particles. This ensures the filter effectively removes contaminants from the air, providing you with reliable protection and a safer breathing environment.

  Test results

  Filter Type B

  This filter protects against certain inorganic gases and vapors, such as chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrogen cyanide. It is designed for use in industrial applications like chemical manufacturing, metal processing, or utility work.

  Filter Type A

  This filter protects you from organic gases and vapors with a boiling point above 65°C. It is ideal for tasks like painting, working with solvents, or in chemical manufacturing and agriculture.

  Filter Type E

  This filter provides protection from sulfur dioxide and other acidic gases and vapors. It is suitable for use in environments where these specific types of gases are present, such as in certain industrial or chemical handling situations.

• EN 143:2000/A1:2006

  Particle filters for respirators with the EN 143:2000/A1:2006 rating are tested for their efficiency in filtering harmful airborne particles like dust, smoke, and aerosols. This ensures the filters meet defined protection levels (P1, P2, P3), helping you choose the right product for cleaner breathing in various environments.

• PPE Category 3

  PPE stands for "personal protective equipment." PPE Category 3 refers to equipment that is complex and provide the highest level of protection such as powered respirators, SCBA, and full body suits. In Europe, PPE Category 3 must meet certain safety standards set by the European Union, which means that it must be designed and manufactured to protect the user without causing harm. Companies that make or sell PPE must prove that it meets these standards. They also must have a quality management system in place, have to be audited regularly by a notified body and have to have a technical documentation.
