HAIX AIRPOWER XR26 BROWN S3 safety shoe men's model
Product description
Comfortable safety shoes for landscaping, trade and leisure - men's model. The upper is made of hydrophobized nubuck leather, which is breathable (5.0 mg/cm 2/h) and has a thickness of 1.8-2.0 mm. The inner lining consists of a 4-layer GORE-TEX® laminate that is waterproof and breathable. The lining is highly abrasion-resistant and has a fleece interlayer. This ensures optimum climate comfort under the most demanding conditions in all seasons. The shoes offer increased chemical protection. The fleece insole absorbs moisture. The insole is comfortable, cushioning, moisture-wicking and antibacterial. A separate heel cup provides good cushioning and foot guidance. The shoes have AIRFLOW channels. The penetration-resistant sole consists of a flexible, lightweight and penetration-resistant metallic sole insert. The rubber/PU sole has a robust road/off-road profile, increased rolling comfort and is highly abrasion-resistant and non-slip - even in cold conditions. The PU cushioning wedge ensures excellent walking properties and very good insulation against the cold. The outsole is resistant to heat, oil and petrol and is non-marking. The shoes have an anatomically shaped, ultra-light protective toe cap made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic for the highest safety requirements. The HAIX® Climate System uses the pumping motion that occurs when walking and transports moisture to the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue. The HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System allows the width of the boot to be individually adjusted using 3 different widths.

Standards and labels
EN ISO 20345:2011 is a rule book for safety shoes and boots worn by people working in construction. It tells how the shoes and boots should be made and tested, to make sure they protect the feet from hazards such as slips and falls. Test results will show how good the shoes and boots are at not slipping, if they can handle water and if they last a long time. The goal of the standard is to make sure that the shoes and boots that construction workers wear keep their feet safe.
