HAIX RANGER BGS 2.0 Professional Police Boots, Size 14.0 / 50
Product description
The upper is made of waterproof leather that is hydrophobic and breathable and has a thickness of 2.0 to 2.2 mm. The inner lining is made of GORE-TEX® Performance, which is waterproof and breathable. The abrasion-resistant lining material has a fleece interlayer and offers optimum climate comfort for all seasons under the most demanding conditions. The insole is made of moisture-absorbing synthetic/fleece material and is dimensionally stable, torsion-resistant and reduces punctual pressure (e.g. from stones or sharp objects). The anatomically shaped insole absorbs moisture very well and dries quickly, is replaceable and washable. The sole is made of rubber/PU and has a road/off-road profile, is abrasion-resistant and non-slip. The HAIX® Climate System uses the pumping motion that occurs when walking to transport moisture to the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue. The cushioning with cushioning wedge, which is incorporated into the sole, provides HAIX® Absorption. The HAIX® CO system provides pressure relief, cushioning, correction of foot position, body alignment and muscle balance in accordance with DGUV Rule 112-191 (BGR 191). Thanks to the HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System, the width of the shoe can be individually adjusted. The shoe has additional toe protection and a certified winter insole (item no. 901458) is available separately.

Standards and labels
EN ISO 20347:2012 is a standard for occupational footwear. It defines the performance requirements and test methods for occupational footwear, including requirements for slip resistance, water penetration, and energy absorption in the heel area. It also describes the markings and labeling that should be on the footwear and the information that should be included in the user manual. Possible test results include whether the footwear meets the requirements for slip resistance, water penetration, energy absorption in the heel area and compliance with the markings, labeling and information in the user manual.
PPE stands for "personal protective equipment." PPE Category 2 refers to equipment that is more complex, and has a higher level of risk. Examples of PPE Category 2 include safety helmets, ear protection, and fall arrest equipment. In Europe, PPE Category 2 must meet certain safety standards set by the European Union, which means that it must be designed and manufactured to protect the user without causing harm. Companies that make or sell PPE must prove that it meets these standards. They also must have a quality management system in place and have to be audited regularly by a notified body.
CE Marking is a label that shows a product meets certain safety and environmental standards set by the European Union. To get the CE Marking, a company must test and certify their product meets these standards. CE Marking is required for many products sold in the EU, including electronics, machinery, toys and medical devices. It helps ensure that products are safe for consumers and the environment, and allows for easy trade within the EU.
