The upper material consists of waterproof leather that is hydrophobic and breathable, with a thickness of 2.0 to 2.2 mm. The inner lining consists of GORE-TEX® Performance, which is waterproof and breathable. The abrasion-resistant lining fabric has a fleece midlayer and offers optimal climate comfort for all seasons under the highest stresses. The moisture-absorbing synthetic/fleece insole is dimensionally stable, torsion-proof, and reduces point pressure (e.g. from stones or sharp objects). The anatomically formed footbed features very good moisture absorption and quick drying, and is replaceable and washable. The sole consists of Rubber/PU with a street/terrain tread, is abrasion-resistant and non-slip. The HAIX® Climate System utilizes the pumping movement generated during walking to transport moisture to the ventilation openings at the shaft and tongue. The cushioning with a damping wedge integrated into the sole ensures HAIX® Absorption. The HAIX® CO System provides pressure relief, cushioning, correction of foot position, body alignment, and muscle balance according to DGUV Rule 112-191 (BGR 191). The shoe width can be individually adjusted via the HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System. The shoe features additional toe protection, and a certified winter insole (Art. No. 901458) is available separately.
