• EN ISO 20345:2011

  Safety footwear with the EN ISO 20345:2011 rating is tested for essential safety features like toe cap impact and compression resistance, puncture resistance, and slip resistance.   General Requirements CI

  Provides insulation to keep your feet warm in cold environments. The sole protects against cold, tested for 30 minutes at -17°C to ensure the temperature inside doesn't drop significantly, making it ideal for winter work.

  General Requirements CR

  Provides protection against cutting hazards to the upper part of the foot. This footwear is made with a cut-resistant material to protect you from sharp objects like glass, metal, or tools in your work environment.

  General Requirements HI

  Provides heat insulation for the sole, protecting your feet from hot surfaces. When tested, the temperature inside the footwear does not increase by more than 22°C after 30 minutes on a surface of 150°C.

  General Requirements S1P

  Provides basic toe protection against 200-joule impacts, a closed heel, antistatic properties, and a shock-absorbing heel. It also includes a penetration-resistant midsole to protect against sharp objects like nails and is ideal for dry work environments.

  General Requirements HRO

  Features an outsole that protects you from hot surfaces. The sole is designed to withstand brief contact with heat up to 300°C for 60 seconds, making it ideal for work on hot ground or around hot materials.

  General Requirements WR

  This footwear is water-resistant, meaning the entire shoe protects against water penetration, not just the upper material. It is designed with features like sealed seams or a waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry in wet conditions.

  General Requirements WRU

  Features a water-resistant upper that protects your feet from splashes and keeps them dry in damp conditions or light rain. The material resists water penetration and absorption, making it suitable for many indoor and outdoor work environments.

• PPE Category 2

  PPE stands for "personal protective equipment." PPE Category 2 refers to equipment that is more complex, and has a higher level of risk. Examples of PPE Category 2 include safety helmets, ear protection, and fall arrest equipment. In Europe, PPE Category 2 must meet certain safety standards set by the European Union, which means that it must be designed and manufactured to protect the user without causing harm. Companies that make or sell PPE must prove that it meets these standards. They also must have a quality management system in place and have to be audited regularly by a notified body.
