The suspension system features exclusive, patented 3M Pressure Diffusion Technology. The unique selector system on the 4-point chin strap developed by 3M allows switching between the standards EN 12492 (mountaineering helmets) and EN 397 (industrial safety helmets). The 6-point ratchet suspension system allows the wearer to adjust helmet height and fit with multiple vertical adjustment options. A magnetic buckle is standard. The climbing helmet-inspired brimless design allows for an unobstructed upward view. The existing slots and attachments are compatible with a wide range of 3M(TM) protective visors, earmuffs, and other accessories. The patented UV indicator allows the wearer to recognize when the helmet has been exposed to excessive UV radiation and should be replaced. The helmet is certified according to EN 12492 or EN 397 (depending on the chin strap setting).
