Note regarding the 2023 supplement (2x medical face masks): First aid kits conforming to the previously valid editions of DIN 13164 (January 1998 and January 2014) may continue to be used. They do NOT have to be replaced (as long as they are still valid or unexpired). Adding two masks is also NOT necessary. However, in your own interest, it is advisable to add two medical masks / surgical masks to the existing (complete and still valid) first aid kit.
