Note for supplement from 2023 (2x medical face mask): First aid kits with the previously valid editions of DIN 13164 January 1998 and January 2014 may continue to be used. They do NOT have to be replaced (as long as they are still valid or durable). An addition of two masks is also NOT necessary. However, in one's own interest, it cannot hurt to add two medical masks / surgical masks to the existing (complete and still valid) first aid kit.
