• EN 1731:2006

  EN 1731:2006 is a European standard that specifies the requirements and test methods for industrial safety helmets. This standard covers all kinds of industrial safety helmets, including helmets for construction, mining, welding and other industrial activities. The standard includes requirements for impact resistance, penetration resistance, and flammability. Test results for EN 1731:2006 include measurements of the helmet's penetration resistance, flammability test, and impact resistance. This standard also includes a test for resistance to penetration by objects, such as flying debris, and for flame resistance. Additionally, it includes requirements for the labeling, marking, and packaging of the helmet. This version of the standard supersedes EN 1731:1997/A1:1997 and includes new test methods, updated performance requirements and new requirements for the helmets' labeling and packaging.

• CE Marking
