Hand disinfectant gel for rubbing in is a dye- and perfume-free disinfectant gel for human hygiene. The ready-to-use gel contains moisturizing care substances and complies with the European standard for hand disinfection (EN 1500).

Application:
For hygienic hand disinfection, rub dry hands with approx. 6 ml of the undiluted solution and keep moist for 30 seconds.
Contact times:
- Bacteria incl. MRSA, fungicidal/levurocidal: 30 sec.
- Tuberculosis bacteria: 30 sec.
- Enveloped viruses incl. HBV/HIV/HCV/coronaviruses, influenza viruses such as H5N1 and H1N1: 15 sec.
- Unenveloped viruses:
- Rota viruses: 15 sec.
- Noro viruses: 1 min.
Spectrum of activity:
Bactericidal (incl. TbB), fungicidal (Candida albicans) and limited virucidal.

Standards and labels
EN 1500:1997 is a European Standard that specifies the requirements and test methods for the performance of hand sanitizers. The standard defines the minimum requirements for hand sanitizers, including the type of alcohol used (ethanol or isopropanol), the minimum alcohol content, and the test methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the product in killing microorganisms. The performance requirement include the ability to kill certain percentage of germs within a specified time frame and test methods include microbe suspension, and measurement of reduction in the number of microorganisms.
