• EcoMaterial

  EcoMaterial is a certification mark used in Europe for products that have been assessed for their environmental performance. It is used to indicate that a product has been evaluated against a set of environmental criteria, such as energy and resource efficiency, and that it has been found to be among the top-performing products in its category in terms of sustainability. The requirements for using the EcoMaterial label will vary depending on the product category, but typically include meeting certain environmental performance standards, such as the use of renewable resources and recycling, and undergoing regular monitoring and re-evaluation by an independent certifying body.

• OK Compost

  OK Compost is a certification program that verifies the biodegradability and compostability of products in industrial conditions. It is awarded by TUV Austria, an independent testing and certification organization. The program verifies that a product will break down into natural substances and not leave behind harmful residue in industrial composting facilities. Products that meet the requirements and pass the testing can use the OK Compost label on their packaging to show that they are biodegradable and compostable in industrial conditions. To be able to use the OK Compost label, a product must meet certain requirements set by TUV Austria, such as passing specific biodegradability and compostability tests in industrial conditions and not leaving behind harmful residue.
