EN 388:2016 is a European standard for measuring the performance of protective gloves against mechanical risks (abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture). The standard includes test methods and performance requirements for gloves to be considered compliant. Test results are reported using a series of four numbers, each representing the performance level achieved in one of the tests.
EN ISO 21420:2020 is a European standard that sets out the general requirements for hand protection, including comfort, fit, and dexterity.

General Requirements GuideEN 13997:1999/AC:2000 is a standard that tells how fire extinguishers should be made. It says that the extinguisher should put out fire well, be easy to use and have clear labels. Tests done to check if the extinguisher meets these rules include checking how well it puts out fires, how well it holds up if dropped or bumped, and if it keeps pressure and doesn't leak. It is an amendment to the original standard EN 13997:1999.
