EN 812:1997/A1:2001 is an amendment to the European standard EN 812:1997 that sets out the requirements for industrial helmets, which are also known as bump caps. These are protective head gear worn in low-impact, high-frequency areas to protect the head from minor bumps, scrapes and bruises.
