• EN ISO 374-1:2016

  Gloves with the EN ISO 374-1:2016 rating are tested for resistance against dangerous chemicals and microorganisms, including penetration, permeation, and degradation. This means you can choose gloves designed to protect your hands from specific chemical hazards, ensuring safer use in various tasks.

  Specified Requirements Type A

  Provides the highest level of chemical protection for gloves, offering resistance against permeation for at least 30 minutes for a minimum of six specific chemicals. This makes it suitable for handling a variety of chemicals.

• EN 388:2016

  Protective gloves with the EN 388:2016 rating are tested for resistance against mechanical risks like abrasion, cuts, tears, punctures, and optional impact. This rating helps you quickly identify and choose gloves that offer the right level of protection for your hands during various tasks.

  Puncture Resistance Level 1

  Provides basic protection against punctures from blunt objects like splinters, not sharp points like needles.

  Tear Resistance Level 1

  Provides basic resistance against snagging or catching on rough surfaces, offering minimal protection from tearing.

  Cut Resistance, ISO 13997 Level X

  Provides the highest level of cut protection, passing a specialized test for materials that dull blades.

  Cut Resistance, Coup Test Level 1

  Provides minimal protection against cuts from a rotating blade under constant, low force.

  Abrasion Resistance Level 4

  Offers the highest level of protection against intense rubbing and wear from rough materials.

• EN 407:2020

  Gloves and other hand protective equipment with the EN 407:2020 rating are tested for protection against heat and/or fire, including resistance to flames, contact heat, convective heat, radiant heat, and splashes of molten metal. This means you can choose products with specific protection levels to safely handle hot items, work near flames, or in environments with thermal risks.

  Radiant Heat Level 1

  Provides basic protection by delaying heat transfer from a radiant source for at least 7 seconds. This makes it suitable for brief exposure to radiant heat, such as when working near ovens or furnaces from a distance.

• EN ISO 2140

  Gloves and arm protectors with the EN ISO 2140 rating are tested for general design, construction, and the absence of harmful substances. This ensures the products are safe, comfortable, and fit for purpose, protecting you without causing skin irritation or other health issues.

• PPE Category 3

  PPE stands for "personal protective equipment." PPE Category 3 refers to equipment that is complex and provide the highest level of protection such as powered respirators, SCBA, and full body suits. In Europe, PPE Category 3 must meet certain safety standards set by the European Union, which means that it must be designed and manufactured to protect the user without causing harm. Companies that make or sell PPE must prove that it meets these standards. They also must have a quality management system in place, have to be audited regularly by a notified body and have to have a technical documentation.
