• EN ISO 21420:2020

  Protective gloves with the EN ISO 21420:2020 rating are tested for general requirements, including design, construction, the absence of harmful chemicals, correct sizing, and dexterity. • EN 388:2003

  Gloves with the EN 388:2003 rating are tested for resistance to abrasion, blade cuts, tears, and punctures. This rating helps you understand the glove's durability and protection against common mechanical hazards, allowing you to choose the right glove for your needs.

  Abrasion Resistance Level X

  This product was not tested for abrasion resistance, or the test is not applicable to this product.

  Tear Resistance Level 4

  Provides the highest level of resistance against tearing, ensuring maximum durability for the toughest jobs.

  Cut Resistance, Coup Test Level 3

  Offers moderate protection against cuts from a circular blade under consistent pressure.

  Abrasion Resistance Level 3

  Withstands a high level of rubbing and scraping on rough surfaces before wearing through.

  Cut Resistance, Coup Test Level 2

  Provides low-level protection against cuts from utility knives or sharp edges.

• EN 407:2020

  Gloves and other hand protective equipment with the EN 407:2020 rating are tested for protection against heat and/or fire, including resistance to flames, contact heat, convective heat, radiant heat, and splashes of molten metal. This means you can choose products with specific protection levels to safely handle hot items, work near flames, or in environments with thermal risks.

  Molten Metal Resistance Level X

  This product was not tested for resistance against molten metal splashes under the EN 407 standard. Therefore, it is not intended for use in activities like welding or foundry work where this specific hazard is present.

  Burning Behaviour Level 4

  Offers the highest protection against catching fire when briefly touching a naked flame. The material resists burning and will extinguish itself almost immediately, giving you crucial time to react and stay safe from burns.

  Radiant Heat Level X

  This product has not been tested for protection against radiant heat, the invisible heat felt from a distance like near a furnace. Therefore, it does not have a certified performance level for this specific type of intense heat hazard.

  Heat Convection Level 2

  This product provides moderate protection against convective heat, which is the transfer of heat through moving air or fluids. It is suitable for tasks where you are briefly exposed to hot air, steam, or non-splashing hot liquids.

  Heat Contact Level 1

  This product provides short-term protection against contact with hot objects up to 100°C (212°F) for at least 15 seconds. It is ideal for brief handling of warm items in non-professional settings like home kitchens.

  Molten Metal Resistance Level 4

  This product provides the highest level of protection against large splashes of molten metal, tested with 200 grams of molten iron. It is ideal for demanding industrial work like foundry or steelworks, protecting against significant metal splash hazards.
